POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Director, Enrollment
Management
DEPARTMENT:

BASIC FUNCTION:
Plans, directs and implements management
of enrollment management efforts related to recruitment and computerized
tracking of students/potential students, and coordinates recruitment with
intake processes, academic offerings and course scheduling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides effective leadership, while working
closely with the offices of Institutional Advancement and the Office of
Institutional and Program Planning, for building and expanding enrollment
at St. Petersburg Junior College through an annual comprehensive plan that
includes continuous recruitment activities.

Engages participation of department chairs,
program managers, personnel assigned to Perkins grant activities, and the
Office of Institutional Advancement in the development of proactive strategies
to recruit prospective students.

Provides effective leadership in reviewing
systems, policies and procedures with an eye toward strengthening enrollment/intake
processes that contribute to student satisfaction and success.

Develops and implements computerized database
for tracking students, from recruitment through to admission.

Coordinates plans and strategies with
established goals of the Peoplesoft Project as they relate to streamlined
admissions, assessment and registration processes to ensure ease of access
to learning opportunities for all students applying for admission to St.
Petersburg Junior College.

Formulates an annual budget related to
strategic priorities for the Enrollment Management functions based on available
resources and defined objectives.

Trains, directs and evaluates all personnel
under immediate supervision.

Performs related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in related area.
Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three (3) years experience in recruitment
and marketing in higher education or related experience.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of college programs, objectives
and operations. Knowledge of microcomputer applications and programming.
Knowledge of data base development and implementation. Knowledge of recruitment
and marketing practices in higher education. Communications, interpersonal
and supervisory skills. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty
and staff.
