POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Program Development & Marketing (Corporate Training)

DEPARTMENT: Educational and Student Services SITE: DO

SALARY SCHEDULE: A&P - GRADE: C

BASIC FUNCTION:

Researches and develops new program opportunities in the computer and management areas based on training needs of local and regional corporate clients with emphasis on development in the high technology areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred. Education or other training in high-end technology areas is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Three (3) years industry experience in a high technology or related management area is required. Experience related to high technology areas in a college or industry setting required. Training experience in a corporate setting is desired. Experience in developing marketing materials and strategies is desired.

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of high-end technology fields. Knowledge of training methodologies in a corporate setting for management and high technology areas. Ability and skill to interact with corporate executives and their staff. Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques. Ability to analyze and predict profitability of new ventures. Ability to prepare and deliver computer-generated presentations for marketing purposes.
