Position Description

POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Program Development & Marketing (HEC)

DEPARTMENT: Health Education Provost Office   SITE: HEC

SALARY SCHEDULE:  A&P     GRADE: C

BASIC FUNCTION:

Researches and developes new program opportunities in the computer and management areas based on training needs of local and regional corporate clients with emphasis on development in the high technology areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. Educational or other training in health care is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Three (3) years experience in health care industry required. Continuing education training experience is desired. Experience in developing marketing materials and strategies is desired.

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of training methodologies in a corporate setting for health care. Ability and skill to interact with corporate executives and their staff. Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques. Ability to analyze and predict profitability of new ventures.
