It's the law |
Mandatory boater education is now the law for anyone born after September 30, 1980 wishing to operate a motorized vessel of more than 10 horsepower in the state of Florida. The Boater Education Law (Section 327.395 Florida Statutes) went into effect October 1, 1996.
The state of Florida has amended its Mandatory Violator Bill so that boaters who receive a boating citation must take an approved Boating Safety Course. |
