TEST PREPARATION
AAP0612 SAT Test Prep – SPC campus class
Learn how your student can achieve a higher score on this important college entrance test! The curriculum features retired practice tests, math and English review exercises, and test-taking strategies taught by expert verbal and math adjunct professors. This course is offered on Saturdays for eight weeks.
AAP0613 SAT Test Prep – High school class
Learn how your student can achieve a higher score on this important college entrance test! The curriculum features retired practice tests, math and English review exercises, and test-taking strategies taught by expert verbal and math adjunct professors. This class is held twice a week after school for eight weeks.
AAP0616 Math for Re-entry
This course is offered as an alternative to MAT0012 and MAT0024 for students having diffi culty with these courses. The same textbook is used and the same exams are given, with a pass/fail designation given to the student upon completion. A score of 70% is required to pass.
AAP0860 LSAT Test Prep
This course is designed to familiarize students with various aspects of the LSAT test used by law schools to assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study. It presents an overview of law school entrance procedures, and helps develop analytical reasoning skills, reading comprehension and logical reasoning skills, as well as improves test-taking skills and helps students discover proven approaches to selecting correct exam answers. Note: A textbook, a CD Rom, and two diagnostic tests are included in the class fee.
AAP0863 GRE Test Prep
The course is offered in a computer lab and is taught by an experienced instructor, William Droke. Materials included in the class fee are: a textbook, practice test workbook and a CD-Rom featuring test taking strategies, review questions, and official retired practice tests for home study use.
