New! Autism Courses Leading to Endorsement

SPC has developed 3 sets of new courses (12 credits total) designed to address the competencies and requirements for the State of Florida Autism Endorsement. All autism courses are online!

Educator Preparation Institute - EPI

The EPI is a one year sequence of courses and field experiences leading to the Florida Professional Teaching Certificate. The EPI is for students with a non-education bachelor’s degree or higher (not currently teaching). There are six pathways: Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Middle Grades Math, Middle Grades Science, Secondary Math, and Secondary Biology.

A Canadian version of our EPI certification program.

Professional Preparation to Full Certification

This program is for currently employed teachers on a temporary certificate who need to complete education courses to obtain professional certification.

Certification Renewal and Reinstatement Course Work

For currently certified teachers or those who want to reinstate an expired certificate and Florida teachers who are already certified but need 6 credit hours every five years to renew their permanent certificate.

Industrial Technical Education (ITE)

Currently employed vocational-technical education teachers in areas such as automotive, health occupations, cosmetology or public service are required to take four ITE courses to gain or maintain district certification.
