POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Program Development & Marketing
DEPARTMENT: SEPSI SITE: AC
SALARY SCHEDULE: A&P
GRADE: C
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Researches and develops new program opportunities in the Criminal Justice and Counterdrug areas based on training needs of local and regional clients with emphasis on development in areas with unmet training needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred. Education or other training in Criminal Justice and Counterdrug areas is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Five (5) years experience in a Criminal Justice Counterdrug area or related area is required. Experience related to Criminal Justice and Counterdrug areas in a college or agency setting required. Training experience in an agency setting is desired. Experience in developing marketing materials and strategies is desired.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of Criminal Justice/Counterdrug fields. Knowledge of training methodologies in an agency setting for management and counterdrug areas. Ability and skill to interact with agency executives and their staff. Knowledge of marketing and strategies and techniques. Ability to analyze and predict profitability of new ventures. Ability to prepare and deliver computer-generated presentations for marketing purposes.
