POSITION TITLE: International Students Activities Coordinator

 

DEPARTMENT: TBD                 SITE: Various

 

SALARY SCHEDULE: Career - GRADE: 7

 

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Coordinates college wide International student activities and support services.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional education and international experience.  

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Three (3) years experience in event planning , public and/or international relations or related experience working within the international community; bilingual preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Knowledge of academic departments and programs in an institution of higher education. Knowledge of the techniques used in recruitment and retention of international students. Ability to relate to students in the specialized area of assignment. Verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills. Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff.
