POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Central Supply Coordinator - EMS
DEPARTMENT: Emergency Medical Services SITE: HEC
SALARY SCHEDULE: Career Service - GRADE: 3
BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs work in receiving, recording, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies, equipment and other materials. The work of this position is both physical and clerical in nature. responsibilities involve performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment, up-keep and appearance of storage area. Employee participates in periodic and perpetual inventory, entering items received and issued on a computer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One(1) year of experience in overseeing equipment and maintenance . Experience or formal training with a computer.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of sentence structure. Knowledge of word usage. Knowledge of basic mathematics. Skill in reading comprehension. Skill in proofreading. Interpersonal skills. Computer skills including Word, Excel, and email programs.
