POSITION TITLE:
Business Services Coordinator
DEPARTMENT:
The Palladium Theater SITE: SPC Downtown
SALARY SCHEDULE:
Senior Career GRADE: 7
BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs duties of
a Business Services Coordinator for The Palladium Theater.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and maintains
financial records of the Theater.

Handles all payables and
receivables.

Coordinates
contract-related activities of the Theater.

Recommends and develops
financial policies and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Manages the financial
accountability of local, state and federal agencies for monies allocated to
the Theater through grants, foundations and/or other philanthropies.
-
Oversees the budgets and
budgetary processes of the Theater, including budget records, payroll
information, purchase orders and maintenance of Palladium programs.

Coordinates with outside
auditors to represent and interpret the financial status of the Theater.

Works with software
programs to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Responsible for following
accepted business practices.

May supervise the work of
clerical staff and student assistants.

Operates within the rules
and regulations of the College.

Works with the SPC
Foundation, Inc. to develop cooperative relationships.

Performs related duties as
required.
EDUCATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an
accredited high school with additional coursework or certification in accounting
and/or business management.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS:
Six (6) years
experience in a business management position.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of
accepted business operations and practices within a non-profit environment.
Ability to work with financial software programs and other developed computer
literacy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated
management skills.
