SALARY SCHEDULE: Technical - GRADE: 2
BASIC FUNCTION:
Designs and provides Web site changes and updates to ensure quality, creativity and appropriateness directed toward advertising and marketing SPC Web site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitors the SPC Website and suggests changes and updates to insure quality, creativity and appropriateness.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
AA degree in Web Design or Graphics or a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS:
Two years experience in designing Web pages and managing projects requiring group consensus building. Experience in marketing is desired.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of computer graphics, software, spreadsheets, databases and web page layout. Knowledge of the techniques used in web development and how Web systems function. Ability to relate to technical and academic people in designing and maintaining Web systems. Ability to build consensus in a college environment. Skill in coordinating people and ideas. Writing and editing skills. Possession of customer service skills.
