M.M. Bennett Library Inter-library Loan Service

Who may use this Service: Current St. Petersburg College students, faculty, and staff, and  Pinellas County Cooperative (PPLC) Community Borrowers who are registered borrowers at M.M. Bennett Library.  

Ordering Books using Inter-Library Loan
Begin  by using the
LINCC Library Catalog to find the book you wish to order.  (Be certain that your home campus library does not already own the book you need before placing your order. ) You may order a book from another campus using the request link through the catalog. To order  books at another Florida community college, click on the icon below.  If you do not find your book on the LINCC catalog at a Florida Community College library, you may try  LINCC Library Catalog  to search the Florida University Libraries or other catalogs. After finding the book that you want : 

PPLC Community Borrowers may only order books between campuses, and must use the Pinellas Library Cooperative system to order books not present at SPC libraries.
 
  • Students
    • Borrower ID: Your Student ID number
    • PIN: the last 4 digits of your social security number.

  • Faculty
    • Borrower ID: your college employee Number  (see pay stub)
    • PIN: last 4 digits of your Social Security Number


Ordering Articles using Inter-Library Loan
Please be certain you cannot obtain the full-text of any articles you wish to order on our full-text databases (Visit the online databases via this connection SPC Library Online) or call a Reference Desk for assistance (CL 792-2411), SP/Gibbs (341-4793), Tarpon Spring (712-5718).
After you find the article that you want:


PPLC Community Borrowers may only order articles between campuses and must use the Pinellas Library Cooperative system to order articles not present at SPJC libraries.

You will receive an e-mail notification that your request has been received after you submit your form and a librarian receives it. When the book or article arrives, you will be contacted by telephone or e-mail to pick up your request at the home campus library that you designated on your ILL form.

*Books and articles ordered from other campuses usually take about 2-3 days to be brought to campus, from other Florida Community College Libraries they take from 5 days to 2 weeks depending on the response of the library.  Some libraries may decline to fill the request. If books are ordered from libraries outside of the Florida college system, it may take up to 6 weeks to receive the book.
