University Partnership Center Library Services

The University Partnership Center (UPC) at SPC, the first of its kind in Florida, has formed partnerships with 13 colleges and universities across the state of Florida for the purpose of increasing degree access for the citizens of Pinellas county. SPC provides the space and technical support; the partner institutions provide the instruction and confer the degree. UPC students have access to SPC facilities and services including the library.

UPC card:

While each partner institution may choose to issue an ID card, students will also need to obtain a UPC card. That card will entitle them to SPC library resources. The cards are free and can be obtained on both the Clearwater campus (Student Activities area or Learning Support Center) and the Seminole campus (Information Commons).

UPC reserves:

Some UPC professors have placed reserve items for their students at the front desk of the Information Commons, TL 104. To obtain that material, students should use their UPC card to request items at the circulation desk. Items are for library use only and cannot be checked out.
