A.     Course Description:

 

 

Prerequisite: ENC0020 and REA 0002 or EAP 1695. This course is a study of the general and specific structural anatomy of the human body. The systems approach is used, examining each major body system in detail. The systems covered include integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, sensory, reproductive, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, and urinary. 47 contact hours.

         14.  The student will demonstrate knowledge of the urinary system by:

                b.   describing and recognizing gross and microscopic  anatomy of the urinary tract including detailed histology of the nephron.

 

 

D.     Criteria Performance Standard:

 

         Upon the completion of this course the student will, with a minimum 70 percent accuracy, demonstrate mastery of each of the above stated objectives through classroom measures developed by individual course instructors.
