Summary:

  • Our eCampus population's national and international character continues to increase, with students now enrolled from 38 states as well as Japan, Germany, and four APOs .
  • The ethnic distribution remains fairly constant.
  • Our students represent over 120 majors, with 50% enrolled in the GEN-AA program. The Technology Management BAS program, with 299 students, has risen to rank #2, up from #6 in the previous session.

Geography

Our geographic distribution remains consistent.

  • 97% of eCampus students come from Florida , consistent with previous sessions.
  • Pinellas County students make up 73%, down from 75.5% and 77.6% the previous two sessions.
  • States represented for the first time this session include Nevada , Utah and Vermont , with two students each, and Maine, with one.
  • Of the 31 New York students, 22 are enrolled in Vet Tech programs.

Ethnicity

The ethnic distribution of eCampus students has not changed significantly. However, because of a recent change in the default categorization, this session saw a tenfold increase in the number of students for whom no ethnic code was available. (Previously, the system used "White" as the default code for these students, resulting in skewed figures for that category.)

Major Code

While the GEN-AA program leads enrollment with a full 50% of eCampus students, the new bachelor's degree program in technology management is making a strong showing at the #2 position. The program's 299 enrolled students comprise 4.46% of total eCampus enrollment, up from 2.5%.
