The American Dental Hygienists'
Association (ADHA) is the largest professional association representing dental
hygienists. Since1923, ADHA has been an outstanding voice for all dental
hygienists, and has shaped the lives and careers of countless professionals.
The student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA) is the student
section of ADHA. Students of an accredited dental hygiene program have a
unique opportunity to become active in the professional association.
What are the benefits of SADHA membership?
- SADHA members receive a complimentary
subscription to ADHA's official publication, Journal of Dental Hygiene, and
Access magazine to help students stay on top of the issues that are important
to the profession of dental hygiene.
- SADHA members also have 24-hour
access to the Career Resource Center, an interactive web-based employment
service for dental hygienists seeking employment and employers seeking dental
hygienists.
- SADHA members may apply for
scholarships and research grants on local, state and national levels.
- SADHA members have 24-hour access to
the web site of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, with over 1,000
pages of information for students, registered dental hygienists and consumers.
