St. Petersburg College Honors College Application Information

The Honors College applications are now available in downloadable, printable form. 

Before you apply we strongly encourage you to review the admission requirements and begin work on the writing requirements described below. 

Freshmen writing requirement: A multi-paragraph essay of 500 to 1,000 words in double-spaced format on the topic below. The essay should demonstrate your ability to write and think creatively and critically. 

Essay topic: Describe a book that you have found to be influential and most significant in your life and explain why. Describe how the book has changed or deepened your understanding about yourself and your world.

**Freshman application (pdf - requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

SPC current students and transfer students writing requirement: A sample of your best written work (500 to 1,000 words), which may be a research paper, creative writing, a science report, etc.

It is to your advantage to apply as soon as possible. Earliest applications will receive the highest priority.
