ASL 1430 FINGERSPELLING 2 credits

Prerequisites: ASL 1140C, ASL 1510. This course introduces students to fingerspelling and numbers in ASL. The course covers topics such as techniques and forms of fingerspelling, when people fingerspell and how they use fingerspelling to meet their needs. It also includes numerical systems in ASL. Emphasis is on both receptive and expressive development. 32 contact hours.
