CJE 1640 INTRODUCTION TO CRIME SCENE TECHNOLOGY 3 credits

Prerequisite: (ENC 0020 and REA 0002) or EAP 1695 or appropriate scores on the English and Reading placement tests. This course is an introductory course in crime scene investigation techniques. Emphasis is placed upon recording the crime scene, collecting and preserving physical evidence, and the examination of evidence. Employment of those techniques available to the crime scene investigator also will be demonstrated. 47 contact hours.
