Our Maternal and Child Health program targets non-degreed, front-line community health workers who serve as home visitors, family support workers, resource workers, peer counselors, public health aides, family advocates, and outreach workers. The goal of this program is to increase the skills and job performances of those who provide outreach and support services to families with children, age birth to five, who are in public health child development and family services programs. Students enrolled in this program will learn skills necessary for promoting, fostering and supporting healthy, well-functioning families.
These courses will apply toward the A.S. degree in Human Services.
