Digital Arts, Media and Interactive Web Design
Want to be on the cutting edge? The Digital Arts, Media and Interactive Web Design program at St. Petersburg College will prepare you for one of the fastest growing sectors in the computer industry. Digital arts and media encompasses a host of new technologies that have changed how we learn, entertain ourselves, and interact with one another.
Student pursuing the Associate in Science degree in Digital Arts, Media and Interactive Web Design can choose from the following tracks:
- Digital Media Production (DMPRD)
- Digital Video Production (DVPRD)
- Video Game Foundations (VGF)
- Digital Graphic Design (DIG)
- Interactive Web Design (INWEB)
Certificate options are also available in the following specialties:

- Digital Media Technology Production
- Digital Media Video Production
- Video Game Foundations
Graduates of this program will be able to start careers in digital media production, digital video, instructional integration, interactive and educational media production and other areas utilizing the digital arts and technology. Each graduate will be required to create an industry-standard digital portfolio that meets the approval of staff and advisory committee member(s). The program is open to all students who show an interest in the digital arts and media and who complete the general college admission procedures.
SPC's Digital Arts, Media and Interactive Web Design program was created in partnership with skilled and talented professionals and was designed in collaboration with the Interactive Media Technology Project consortium commissioned to update the Student Performance Standards and Curriculum Frameworks for AS/AA degrees throughout Florida.
