Linda L. Hogans is graduate of the University of South Florida and
National-Louis University
with a master's in education. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral program
with Barry University. She is seeking a degree in
leadership with a specialization in
higher education
administration.
Linda has served in the
field of education for 21 years. Her experiences include teaching, management,
human relations and consulting. Linda is currently employed as the Director of
the Office of Special Programs for St. Petersburg College. She administers
on campus programs,
Student Support Services (a federally funded TRIO program),
Brother to Brother (B2B),
and Summer of Success. In addition to the Center of
Excellence (COE), she administers CROP (College
Reach Out Program) and the CROP Expansion program in middle and high schools.
The primary focus of the Office of Special Program is to eliminate barriers to
success for eligible youth in Pinellas County.
She
also serves on the boards of Pinellas County Head Start, Pinellas Opportunity
Council and is a gubernatorial appointee to the Board for the Florida Fund for
Minority Teacher. |
