Women on the Way provides services that enhance and empower adult learners’ abilities to achieve academic, professional and personal success. The program provides resources and support for SPC students seeking to complete a college degree:

- College and community resources information
Based on the Clearwater Campus, our facilities include a lounge where students can relax, unwind, make friends and share experiences.

The following services are available to active members:
- Academic advising
Help students with class selection and schedule selection.
- Clothing boutique
Provide a clothing boutique of gently worn clothing from the community, faculty, staff and students.
- Emergency toiletries
Personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. are available depending on resources.
- Peer support
Students can support and build camaraderie with one another.
- Newsletter and calendar of events
- Study room and lounge area
Students have a place to relax and make friends.
- Weekly workshops (Lunch Bunches)
Held on Mondays and Tuesdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m., WOW participants are given information on topics such as time and stress management, career development and success strategies that they can use in their personal and professional lives.

A list of Human Services and Social Services Contact Guide is available with contact information for food shelters, homeless shelters, housing and child care.
- Scholarships
Active members are eligible to apply for WOW scholarships after one term of enrollment.
- Positive Directions Association
Positive Directions Association is the Women on the Way campus club for its members. The club sponsors fundraisers to secure items such as textbooks for active members. It meets once a month during the fall and spring terms. The club is located on the Clearwater campus and encourages students to enhance leadership skills, develop teamwork skills, improve self-esteem, meet other students,
enjoy group activities, and add fun to their college experiences.
- Textbook lending library
Club fundraisers and community donations help provide textbooks to members.
